A dream is a wish your heart makes

This morning as per usual on my morning off I brought Aoife and Emily to school and the conversation was Disneyland, today we were talking about their favorite meet and greet to date. Emily quipped that hers was with the Pumpkin King--Jack Skellington which was last Halloween. I remember waiting in line for over 45 minutes and as we got to be next Jack had to go away and ......... The interaction at this wonderful meet is amazing and makes for a haunting and spooky family photo.

Of course having the Photopass+ included on the Infinity pass is a great bonus to us as we can now be in the photo rather than taking it.

This year at Halloween Jack is in a different location in front of the newly Refurbed Phantom Manor. Due to work etc we will be missing the whole Halloween seasom this year for the first time in 5 years.

But not to be beaten Aoife quickly added that she loved the Jack Sparrow meet we had during the summer of 2017 at the ole Cinamagique location. We were walking along and saw there was a small line developing so we said yeaaah why not and hopped on to meat the Capn. of course Aoife remembers that he smelled slightly of fish and wouldnt stop messing with his nails and hair. it was a really fun meet again with wonderful interaction.

This conversation continued after I got home from the school over breakfast. We have had some brilliant meets with a lot of wonderful icons of Disney but none more magical than when we waited in line for 60 minutes in March 18 to hang out with the Boss Mouse. It was chucking down sleet outside and the Meet Mickey Theater was a great opportunity to get out of the weather and dry off for a while. Of course during the summer at this location the air conditioning is also on so it works both ways. When the weather in Paris can be quite erratic like this years heat wave where people sheltered under the trees in Discovery land. It was sometimes sticky and uncomfortable but we battled through and really had a great time.

I developed a severe ear worm this morning also. Ever get one song stuck in your head and the only way to release it is to listen to it.

Of course YouTube came into play and one thing lead into another with vlog after vlog of the sights and sounds tingling the senses. Christmas is one of our favorite times to visit for obvious reasons and I always try to remember to check out the decor of the Disneyland Hotel. The wonderful smell of the Gingerbread house is one that gets me all the time. Ill stay there one day soon and of course ill let everyone know.

We have been lucky enough to bump into a few of the people whos videos we watch on a regular basis. Emily has christened Curious Axel her uncle. It was Halloween last year when we got to spend a bit of time after Illuminations with him and his lovely wife. We walked out of the park late and main st was completely empty. In fact Sarah tried to teach him a little Korean even though she thought herself on youtube.

We also have bumped into Filip and Jordi of Dlrp fans and Mr Themepark fans a couple of times to name a few. We like to say hi to people we invite into our home to keep the magic alive between trips.

What is next for us well we cant say but i can guarantee it will be magical and of course with some seasonal theming. Will it be USA or Asia or will it be that once in a lifetime stay in the Castle Club level at the Disneyland. Who knows but all i know is I have worked hard to make the memories for my girls and they are lucky to say they have grown up with DLP and magic flowing through their veins as well as blood.
