Boss mouse birthday

Today is the birthday of that special guy and his girlfriend we have all grown up with. Mickey mouse hit our screens 90 years ago today A lot of people are unhappy with today's offerings at Disneyland Paris, We dont go in for the whole special event in the park thing as every time we visit it is special to us in its own unique way. In DLP there have been several events running all season long to do with the birthday of Mickey yet very little to do with Minnie. Some people see this as a gross oversight, Personally i see it as the use of the most recognizable character ever created by Walt and its unfortunate that Minnie is pushed into the background.

It does not bother me either way as the only way i can take part in the celebration this week is through the eyes of those in the parks. Everyone is entitled to their opinions on happenings, I enjoy people discussing the differences between the different resorts celebrations around the world. OK Paris did not issue the badge for the day that is in it, and by the time i press publish on this post you more than likely find them on Ebay etc. People did this with the Phantom Manor pins as well as the medals from Run Disney weekends. I am disgusted at people that sell something you have been given for nothing on a special day.

If it was me i would auction them for a charity or something and make a public presentation of the monies to them.

On a lighter and more positive note I finished up working in my most recent job last night. It felt great to be able to walk out the doors this morning with all my stuff done holding my head high as usual. Next week i start training for a job I have wanted from a young age watching and riding on the Double decker busses in Dublin.I initially applied three years ago and its like my childhood dreams have come through.

It also means I will be able to upgrade my camera gear before returning to DLP and will be able to really work on creating quality videos not just selfie vidos from a mobile phone.
